A long-running creative connection returned to the booth as Jamie xx joined Solomun for one of the season’s standout +1 pairings
Ibiza, July 15, 2026 - Solomun +1 welcomed Jamie xx back to Pacha Ibiza on Sunday, July 12, reuniting renowned tastemakers whose musical relationship continues to develop both inside and outside the booth. The evening marked Jamie xx’s first appearance at Solomun's longstanding residency since August 2024 and another standout chapter in a season built around both Solomun's longtime collaborators and new names joining the residency, bringing together some of the most exciting artists across electronic music.
The artistic rapport between the two has only grown since their last +1 showing. Solomun has since released two remixes of Jamie xx's "Waited All Night," a centerpiece from his acclaimed In Waves LP. Sunday brought their musical dialogue back to the dancefloor in true +1 fashion, with Jamie opening the night, Solomun following, and the pair eventually joining forces for a closing b2b set that represented a unique melding of styles.

Jamie began with the warm, open-ended sound that has made him such a singular presence in the scene, pulling the room into his musical ethos without forcing an early peak. His set drew from across his own catalog, including “Treat Each Other Right,” “KILL DEM,” and his collaboration with The Avalanches, “All You Children,” while also moving freely through UK garage, jungle, and house.
By the time Jamie xx returned to the booth, both artists had firmly established their own approach to the night. In typical +1 fashion, however, the closing B2B found its strength in the space between them, with their contrasting approaches combining into something greater than the sum of its parts. The night reached its crescendo with Nacho Penade’s remix of Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams’ “Lose Yourself to Dance,” bringing the room to a final peak as the sun began its rise.
Attention now turns to this Sunday, July 19, when Peggy Gou joins Solomun at Pacha Ibiza for the next edition of +1 and one of the season’s most anticipated pairings. The residency will continue with guests including Anyma, Dixon, DJ Gigola, Max Styler, Barry Can’t Swim, and KETTAMA, extending its run of standout collaborations every Sunday through October 4.
